Michal Štefanatný

Michal Štefanatný is a dentist with a deep interest in all areas of dentistry, with a clinical focus on periodontology, prosthodontics, and implantology. He completed his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Medicine, Palacký University in Olomouc, where his research addressed the etiology and conservative treatment of peri-implantitis. Since 2020, he has also served as a certified forensic expert in the field of dentistry. His clinical philosophy centers around saving teeth whenever possible—and when replacement is necessary, opting for the most biologically friendly and sustainable solution. He is an active speaker at both national and international dental congresses and regularly teaches hands-on
courses at Blanc Academy. Since 2023, he has been the author of Climbing up, a professional newsletter for dentists published biweekly.
He is a member of several professional societies:
• ITI – International Team for Implantology (member since 2016, ITI Club Director since 2023, ITI
Fellow since 2025),
• ČPS – Czech Society of Periodontology (member since 2018),
• ČES – Czech Endodontic Society (member since 2018),
• ČADE – Czech Academy of Dental Esthetics (member since 2022, certified member since 2024).
