Samuel Akhondi

After completing his DMD degree at the Medical University of Vienna, Dr. Akhondi pursued a postgraduate Master’s degree in Oral Implantology at Goethe University Frankfurt. He has been nominated as an ITI Fellow and is the recipient of the André Schroeder Research Prize, the Research Award of Academy of Osseointegration, and the Austrian Dental Award. Following an ITI Scholarship at the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he worked there as a Research Fellow. In addition, he runs a private practice in Vienna limited to Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, serves as Director of an ITI Study Club, and is co-founder of Young ITI Austria.
